DEADLINE: May 12th by 2:30 PM
IF ANY PART OF THIS PROJECT IS HANDED IN AFTER THE DEADLINE, IT WILL ONLY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A SCORE OF 0 OUT OF 4 (but, it will allow you to pass the class). THIS PROJECT IS IN TWO PARTS (EACH WORTH 4 POINTS) AND WILL NEED TO BE TURNED IN SEPARATELY ON CANVAS. MAKE SURE YOU TURN IN THE RIGHT PART INTO THE RIGHT ASSIGNMENT.
|
PART ONE:
- Create an interpretation of the novel in one of the following forms: song (must have lyrics), painting/illustration (not poster, collage, etc.), multimedia presentation, short film, video game, essay, interpretive dance, or poetry. Do not do a book cover. If you would like to do another form (such as collage, photography, sculpture, etc.), you must have a very specific plan and have it approved ahead of time by Mr. Saxton. This interpretation must be turned in in a digital format. All content must be school-appropriate.
- YOU MUST MAKE SURE I HAVE ACCESS TO VIEW YOUR PROJECT AND/OR THAT IT IS PROPERLY ATTACHED IN CANVAS. IF I CAN'T VIEW IT, YOU DIDN'T DO IT.
- You must include answers to the following questions with your project even if you choose essay:
|
PART TWO:
- Create and submit a comparison/contrast of relative strengths and weaknesses between your work and AT LEAST TWO of the interpretations on THIS PAGE.
- Your comparisons must address all three of the questions at the top of that page.
- The interpretations you use must be from different categories than your project and each other.
- THIS SHOULD NOT BE A SHARED OR ATTACHED ASSIGNMENT. IT SHOULD BE TYPED OR COPY-PASTED DIRECTLY INTO THE CANVAS TEXT BOX.
Again, complete projects (BOTH PARTS) are due on May 12th at 2:30 PM. THE SUBMIT BUTTON WILL DISAPPEAR AT THAT TIME. LATE WORK WILL HAVE TO BE EMAILED TO ME AND WILL COUNT AS A ZERO (ONLY REMOVE THE INCOMPLETE).
