The newest iteration, the Nexus 6 clones, are almost indistinguishable from humans. These "replicants," having failed in a violent, attempted revolt, are banned from Earth to "off-world" colonies. In 2019, a former blade runner (a police officer specializing in hunting down replicants) is tasked with finding and destroying a fugitive group of replicants that have made it to earth and are living undercover in a decaying and dystopian Los Angeles. |
